Curating the show space for the Design for Visual Communication course 2018–19 at the London College of Communication, UAL. The course launched their yearly publication in June 2019 that compiled the works of graduating students. Static analogue covers were brought to life by digital animations.
Each publication cover, featuring student work, was uniquely generated using Mosaic software, producing 500 distinct copies with varied design permutations. The designed permutations were then projected onto the displayed publications.
IMPACT
The curated display brought the student works to life. Publications were available on shelves for visitors to freely take, adding an interactive element to the exhibition. Animating the covers not only enhanced their appeal but also created a seamless transition between physical and digital mediums, drawing attention to the individual student projects. The exhibition successfully highlighted the creative process behind the works and offered a memorable experience to the audience.
